Here's a few shots from my latest filming session with the HexaKopter. I'm really pleased how the shots turned out so I thought I'd share it. All part of a larger project of documenting the progression of the buildings as they are being constructed.

For fun a 4kW remote fibre laser welder has a go at drawing a meme. Just for fun I got the idea of using a 6dof robot arm as a reaaalllly slow, low resolution printer. All starts with an image, extracted the colours of the felt-tips I had. Then wrote a simple java application that reads in the images and outputs raw robot motion commands to draw each pixel. The drawing took about 57 minutes (with the robot running at 50% speed) and used a resolution of 370x230.
